RUBYLER Prosthetic Material (Patent pending)

RUBYLER porous-structure molding material was developed through the original technologies of Toyopolymer. Inheriting the water-absorbent and non-dust-generating characteristics of our established RUBYCELL polyurethane, RUBYLER is also a molding material and can therefore be used to fabricate urethane sponges with complex shapes.

Thanks to its properties as a molding material, RUBYLER is suitable for finely shaped polyurethane sponges where water absorption, coatability and impregnability are required, as well as for long rollers (2 meters or longer) and large blocks.

Applications

1. Water Absorption / Coatings

With water absorption and retention properties far superior to PVA, RUBYLER is an excellent material for water-absorbent rollers on manufacturing lines for various products (including generation 7 and 7.5 flat panel displays). In addition to water absorption, it can be used for fluid transfers and coatings.

2. Fluid Absorbtion / Impregnation

RUBYLER has continuous pores and high porosity for compatibility with various fluids.
It therefore absorbs and retains fluid at high density.
Thanks to the non-dusting characteristic, it can be used as an absorbent for a wide range of fluids.
